Alopecia or baldness is a common problem with men and almost every other man suffers from this condition. Men’s hair loss is not something that occurs all of a sudden but is a gradual process. It could start with what is called thinning of hair and if left untreated could lead to massive loss of hair which could ultimately result in baldness.

There could be various reasons attributed to men’s hair loss and if it is not treated in its infancy it could lead to a lot of socio-psychological problems for the affected persons. Previously it was thought that the problem of baldness or hair loss was more do with genetic makeup of a person, but research over a period of time has shown that there are many other reasons which cause this problem. New studies have revealed that there could be a direct link between hormonal imbalance and baldness or thinning of hair. Hormonal imbalances in men could occur due to various reasons and some of the most obvious ones are stress and strain, unhealthy eating habits, and lack of exercise. There are some men who are in the habit of using medicines and drug quite often and this could also be the underlying cause for alopecia. Hence, the commonly held belief that this problem is more genetic in nature is flawed. Therefore, since it is more of a lifestyle related problem there are reasonably bright chances that it could be reversed, provided the right kind of treatments are followed.

Hormonal imbalances if left untreated could play havoc and lead to a situation which results in men’s hair loss. When there is such an imbalance, too much of testosterone is released which binds with some mother agent and forms a new hormone called DTH or dihydrotestosterone. This hormone passes through the blood stream and when it reaches the scalp, it immediately stops hair growth. So to arrest hair loss and eventual baldness, it is very important to correct this hormonal imbalance.

The DTH gets imbedded in the hair scalp resulting in huge hair loss and amongst the various ways to treat this problem the most common option is to regularly use a good all-natural hair growth shampoo, which goes deep into the scalp and washes away DTH thereby slowly enabling re-growth of hair and preventing men’s hair loss. While choosing a good all natural hair shampoo is important, it is also vital to ensure that the shampoo contains two important ingredients, namely, Palmetto and Biotin which play a big role in balancing the hormone levels and reducing DTH levels. Once this is achieved, the problem will resolve by itself and your scalp will start growing hair again.

While treatment of hormonal imbalances is a good option to stop men’s hair loss, there are some other life-style changes which will help a person to keep his hair strong and healthy. Eating lot of green vegetables, fruits and food that is rich in minerals and vitamins will help a lot in stopping hair fall. Additionally, we should try and avoid a sedentary life style to the extent possible and should engage in some regular exercises which will also help a lot.

This indeed is good news because once there is a change in the habits which causes hair loss, the situation could be reversed and hair growth could happen all over again.

Hormonal imbalances are another major reason for women’s hair loss and this should be remedied. DTH is the main culprit as far as hair loss is concerned and there are some good products available in the market place such as Biotin, which help in reversing the situation and aiding hair growth again. Biotin can be used many ways either orally or as a topical application in the scalp. Keeping the scalp free of dandruff and impurities also helps hair fall to a great extent.
